Analysis
When Sharon works, apart from the obvious technical considerations of the materials, she does not consciously consider what she is doing or why, nor does she try to analyse this afterwards.
Creativity
Sharon has a very rare ability to be continually creative, always bringing to her work a constantly fresh and original quality.
Ideas
Almost all of Sharon's ideas for her works and their titles come from her imagination. She generally depicts only those elements of any given subject that she feels are exciting or essential.
Influence
Sharon has not consciously been influenced by any other artist. She is quite simply influenced by life itself with the ultimate aim of being totally unique.
Inspiration
Sharon is very aware of, greatly appreciates and extremely inspired by the things that the five senses bring us - the sound of rain, the smell of honeysuckle, etc. However, she does not necessarily reflect these things in her art, but rather draws from them a great energy and zest for life. It is this love of life itself that inspires and influences Sharon's work.
Interpretation
There is no right or wrong interpretation of Sharon's work. Sharon would like people to interpret her art in their own way, believing that we all see and feel things differently depending on our experiences and personalities. Even the same person's interpretation of something can vary according to their current state of mind - in other words, how we see something today, may not be how we see it tomorrow.
Techniques
Sharon is continually experimenting and trying out new techniques and does not normally use any specific methods. However, she does strive constantly to incorporate a natural rhythm in her work.
